No hot water, lukewarm water or running out fast
Causes depend on the system type, from a failed element or thermostat in an electric storage unit, to an ignition or gas supply issue in a gas unit, to a fault in the controls of a heat pump or solar system. We diagnose it before recommending repair or replacement. Any electrical work is undertaken by a licensed electrician.
Leaking hot water systems
A leak from a valve, fitting or pipe connection can usually be repaired. A leak from the tank itself generally means the system needs replacing. We tell you which it is.
Hot water that is too hot, fluctuating or low pressure
Water that swings between hot and cold, scalds, or arrives with weak pressure can be caused by valves, mixing, scale build-up or the supply. We check temperature and pressure on site.
Tempering valves
A tempering valve limits the temperature of hot water delivered to bathroom fixtures. If yours has failed or is not working properly, we replace it.
Gas continuous-flow (instantaneous) systems
